Hi Steve, Sorry for responding so late, but I'm verifying the possibilities. An overview of the MAC address can also be found in the Hardware Manager (System -> Hardware Manager (Network Settings). As far as I know we do not save the serial number in each device. Can you tell me what the reason is why you want to retrieve the MAC address and Serial Number via Ethernet? BR Arno
Hi Ricardo, The Bose EX-1280C supports RS232 or SoIP control (see attached the serial protocol). I have no experiences with DALI, but found several DALI-RS232 interfaces on the internet. Perhaps you can try one of these (or contact the manufacturer). If you find a good working DALI-RS232 interface, we would appreciate if you can post this onto our forum, as it might be helpful for others also. If you need any other support, please let us know. Thanks in advance. BR Arno
Hi, My name is Ricardo Barreiros from ABC/ Portugal, and i have a project with EX-1280C, where i need to integrate in protocol DALI. The end user have a solution in another place where he controls (AC, Light, and sound) with a tablet. They use protocol DALI to control everything in same App. Anyone can tell me if it's possible? Thanks, Ricardo Barreiros +351916620925
Hi Ricardo, The EX-1280C is not compatible with DALI unfortunately. One option, if the customer wants to use the same app, is to have the app developer write some specific commands to control the EX-1280C. Our protocol is realatively simple if they just want to set some scenes and control volume. Best regards, Darryl
Hello everybody, I received a design file from a customer. The file can be loaded and you can go online. After a reboot the EX1280C does not start anymore. The only solution to bring the EX1280C back to life is to load the default file. Does somebody has any idea? I have the file attached. Thanks for your help regards Stefan
Hello Stefan, Thank you for contacting us. There is a known issue with the EX-1280C with CC-16. This will be resolved in CSD 5.5 which we expect to release end of today. Sorry for the inconveniences. BR Arno
