Avoid Leading and Trailing Spaces in Device Labels

ScottA-at-Bose ·
A dealer recently expanded an existing ControlSpace system with an additional ESP unit and CSR app control. The CSR app needed to control blocks from two different ESP units within the system. The dealer could only get CSR to control blocks from one of the ESP units. The other ESP could not be controlled. Turns out that the ESP unit that could not be controlled had been given a name within CSD Project View that ended with a space. CSR automatically removes any leading and trailing spaces...

ToneEq object in CSR mutes audio when a slider is held.

rschmid ·
When adjusting a ToneEq object on an iPhone, holding a slider to make small adjustments causes audio to be muted. If I make small adjustments and raise my finger off of the phone, it works fine. However if trying to adjust a slider live while music is playing, the risk of a complete audio dropout is too high for the ToneEq object to be used. Is this as designed or can the mute be disabled?

Re: ToneEq object in CSR mutes audio when a slider is held.

Hi Randall, Thank you for reporting this defect. I was able to reproduce this with the ESP FIXED IO (no issue with the ESP00), but only if you go through 0.0 point with the MID EQ slider. If you slowly change the MID EQ slider, you will hear a short audio drop. But if continue moving the slider the audio will be off until you stop moving the slider. If you change the slider fast around the 0.0 point, you hear no audio drop (depending on how fast you move the slider). I will back log this...

Hi Arno, Please also note that an audio dropout also occurs under similar conditions when the mid range's bypass button is toggled. -Randy

Hi Scott, I've heard this once before. In that case it was a network issue with 2 access points. I haven't heard the final solution from them (will check with them again). In the mean time, could you share the CSD file and the CSR files. If the dealer don't want them shared public, you can email the files to me. Do you have also more information about the network? What is connected to this network, switches / access points / ..... Best regards, Arno

Only First 9 Parameter Sets show active in CSR

Blake ·
I am using CS Builder Version 2.0.3.8 and like the post before only the first 9 Parameter Sets indicate that they are the last parameter set invoked. Same as this post: https://www.bosepro.community/ g/proaudio/topic/active- parameter-set-doesn-t-stay- highlighted

Hi Blake, This issue is resolved in CSR 2.1. We just discover a bug in CSR 2.1 when running Win 10, no problems running Win 7 Best regards, Arno

CSR remote 2.2 is now available in App Store and Play Stores which should solve this issue.
