Wireless transmitter/receiver to use with two S1 pro speakers

Looking for recommendations or experience on using a wireless transmitter/receiver with two S1 pro speakers, hoping to use them for wedding ceremonys or remote fill speakers. A little worried about the reliability of wireless.  Thanks!

Original Post

Hi again,

There are some considerations with the S1 Pro system because it is so portable.

You may be looking for

  • A battery powered receiver (the part that goes into the S1 Pro system input).
  • A battery powered transmitter. If you want to replace the wire that you use to daisy chain two S1 Pro systems, the transmitter would take the signal from S1 Pro Line Out and transmit that to the receiver on the second S1 Pro system.

Bluetooth is great for sending prerecorded music from a Bluetooth enabled device (computer, tablet, phone) to your S1 Pro system, however if there is a visual aspect (video or live performance or you are linking loudspeakers together), the latency with Bluetooth is too high for those applications.

Thanks for the info... more specifically looking for ideas to go from a mixer out to wireless transmitter to wireless receiver (battery powered) into Bose s1 pro. Alto stealth wireless for speakers is the type of system I'm thinking of, but recevers are not battery powered. Or, perhaps a Bluetooth transmitter that would connect to mixer out and then pair to the s1 pro Bluetooth.

Hi Harry

Thanks for bringing this topic up. WIRELESS transmission.

I play what we in Denmark call dinner music.

Groups: up to 120 people.

My setup is:

Piano - Tone match4 - Compact L1 cabled - Wireless to second Compact L1.

Currently I use a XVive U2 (which is made for instruments) between the first and second Compact L1.

It works, but from time to time the quality is too poor because of too much electronic noise in the room I think.

Wonder if anyone has any wireless transmission experience.
