I do remote DJing for an internet radio station.  May be a stupid question, but can the Tonematch's be used in place of a Mixer board?  I have the T1 Tonematch and a T8S.  Used mainly for microphones only.

The ToneMatch mixers are "Mixer boards".

The combo inputs are XLR and 1/4" inputs. They accept:

  • XLR connections - typically used for microphones
  • 1/4" plug connections- typically used for line-level inputs and instruments

These kinds of inputs are common on most "Mixer boards".

What kinds of sound sources do you need to connect?

My regular mixer I connect to the computer via USB.  For the mixer all I use is a mic or mics if I have more joining me on the show for interviews and talk and headphones.

Did know if this is something the Tonematch's can do...if worth exploring.
