I bought the LT, perfectly OK for my needs.
First impressions are good; in comparison with my last non-modelling multi-FX I suppose that's not surprising; but it gives proper amp sounds, with picking response as per the valve days. And I can still use two of my favourite pedals - if there's a fault, it's that the drive effects seem a bit "buzzy" - but I haven't tried them thro' a real amp - maybe the preciseness of the Bose is a fault here (!)
I've only just launched the editor (I wanted to program everything on the Helix to begin with, so I was OK for changes/adjustments on the fly live, without the iMac). The editor is superb and intuitive.
This system seems to get the best out of the Bose in terms of amp emulation, and I'm sure I'm at the start of a (possibly long) rewarding and interesting journey.
Using it live in a non-concert hall environment always prompts the question of whether all that fine tuning possible will ever be heard or appreciated where acoustics, background noise, glasses clinking, etc are probably more of a factor (like the guy fitting the Bose 24-speaker audio system in his car - which has low profile tyres, sports exhaust, sunroof, etc and is not a Rolls Royce . . . . but hey-ho, if he likes it . . . ).
Of course, for recording, it's a dream. In conjunction with judicious use of the Variax, all is possible!
Thanks for your interest,
Cheers for now,
