Hi, I have a L1 11 with a B2 base and also the early T1 . I had a problem with no sound even though all lights were on. The unit was sent back for a warranty repair by Long and McQuade  New Minas Nova Scotia.  the tower , and power amp section came back with some repairs done , but I'm still waiting for my B2 to come back. This has now been almost a month and a half. I'm a gigging musician and I rely on my gear. Why is the turn around taking so long ?.  I love the system, the sound is  wonderful clear and articulate, and I have lots of compliments on it, but it's making think twice on if I would purchase anymore Bose products.

I have been playing  for close to 40 years and have owned pa's for a long time .

I'm sorry you had an issue with your L1 and B2.

Service levels and turn around times vary by region, but I would have thought you'd have all the pieces back by now.

Have you followed up with Bose? They should be able to tell you when the B2 was shipped (if it has been) or when to expect it.

Yes, go with the tecch support! I recently had issues with the amp (stand) for my L1 MII, could have gone with 3-week turn around for $250 on the repair or $399 for a brand new one, sent UPS 2-day, and free return of the old one to Bose - I did the new one.  Love it!

So to follow on from my letter regarding turn around time. 

Long and Mcquade emailed Bose to enquire as to where my b2 might be , the following  reply was they had no record of receiving it . 

They are now going to send me a brand new b2 in lieu . Good customer service on their part.
