L1 Model II

Let's talk about the L1® Portable Line Array Systems

Using proprietary Bose® technology, L1 systems combine  PA and monitors into a single, highly portable unit. The  loudspeaker can be positioned behind or to the side —and you hear what the audience hears.

Highly portable PA and monitor combined for solo performers, DJs and general-purpose use. Fixed vertical control with 180° horizontal coverage Reduced vulnerability to feedback.

Three systems to choose from (Compact, Model 1S, Model II)
Two passive bass module options (B1 or B2)
Consistent coverage and tonal balance, portability and easy setup.

I plan to use two L1s classic with T1 mixer. I have 4 B1s should I use them all or 1 for each power stand.

i have learnt a few things after I joined Bose community and from here on I want to do it right.

Please advise

Please tell us more about what you're doing and we can give you some suggestions.

Thanks,

 input= 1 - 2 SM58, (VOCALS) input= 3 SM57 electric guitar Amp, input = 4&5 for Yamaha keyboard S950.

I sometimes use two keyboards, and i just use mono out from each keyboard to input 4&5

I like to know how run in stereo and mono so I can compare.

Thank you

The T1 is mono device so you can't pan sound sources from one side to the other although in some situations you can get creative to force things. That won't work very well for vocals.

Try this:

Microphones to T1 channels 1, 2, 3.

T1 Master Output to the first L1 Classic - channel 1.

First L1 Classic channel 1 line out to the second L1 Classic.

Stereo Keyboards

Connect the keyboards directly to the L1 Classics

Keyboard 1

  • Left output to first L1 Classic channel 3
  • Right output to second L1 Classic channel 3

Keyboard 2

  • Left output to first L1 Classic channel 4
  • Right output to second L1 Classic channel 4

How does that sound?
