Hi Victor, I use a Heil PR 35 microphone and various guitars: Collings OM1 & D1 and a Martin OM-28 Marquis. I run the guitar and mic through a Play Acoustic and use the T1 as a mixer. I've also run the same set up without the T1 straight into the S1 Pro and still got an acceptable sound.

I use Martin D-15M and Martin GPCPA4 guitars, also Ovation 1111 Balladeer and Celebrity CS257 guitars, all frequently played through a TC Helicon PlayAcoustic into a Bose S1 PA or a Roland AC-60 amp. Shure SM58 mics.

Currently, I'm playing directly from the T1 into the PA or amp while I'm experimenting with the Tonematch settings.

In order to make sure we are delivering new ToneMatch presets that meet your needs we would love to gain additional insight into what instruments and microphones you currently use or plan to use with the L1(tm) system and T1 ToneMatch(tm) audio engine. I'm setting up this discussion as a way to capture this information. Please reply and let us know.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi steview22,

Thanks for your question. I appreciate your interest.

I looked back over your previous posts and noticed you had a similar concern about the T1 Features discussion.

Bose takes all of the customer input people contribute here (and many other sources) into consideration when developing new products like the T4S and T8S ToneMatch mixers. I'm sure you'll understand; not all suggestions can be incorporated.

Bose doesn't comment on products in development, but they are always working on something.

Customer comments and questions inspire the work.

Thank you,

ST

I'd like to see a Shure Beta 98H/C preset.  I play a Deering Golden Era banjo and use this mic as a clip-on mic.  I like the fact I can use as wireless or wired. I've swapped out the supercardioid capsule with the 110 and its perfect.

I have recently purchased a new-to-me 1986 Dobro 5-string for a different sound.  I've been experimenting and have a found nice place to park this mic, just above the biscuit bridge, pretty stable. I place the mic into the sound hole for a more woody tone.

Thanks, James

Hi Cleverson,

In your situation, the ToneMatch Preset is about the instrument you're playing, not the microphone you are using to pick up the sound.

Hi Cleverson,

The Shure Beta 98H/C looks like a clip-on instrument microphone

What instrument are you amplifying with thie microphone.

Thanks,

ST

I play saxophone.

There are three ToneMatch Presets for Saxophone.

They are in the Winds and Horns category.

Also need tonematch presets for Neumann KM 184, Neumann TLM 102 and K&K pickups.

Using Shure Beta 58 for vocal mics - already have a tonematch setting for that

I have several pickup type in my guitars....  The Baggs Element and IBeam already have settings.

Would like to see tonematch for K&K Ultrapure and Fishman Infinity
