T1 mic stand holder

Just bought the T1 and mic stand holder for the T1. I am having problems with the T1 staying on the L shape latch. It keeps coming loose from the bottom. I am thinking about using super glue to make it stay in the groove on the bottom of the T1. Before I do, I thought I check to see if there are any ideas? Thanks

Hi Jimmiez,

It sounds like you have the bracket upside down. There is a bevel on the arm. It should be angled down toward you (lowest edge toward you) as you are facing it before you put the T1® on top of it.

Does that help?
Hi

Love my Tonematch but just don't feel comfortable even "correctly" attached to the mike stand. Entertainers move all over a mic stand. Nope.....no way I am gonna see $500 crash to the floor. I bought a simple xstand with a metal tray on top. .....plus I velcro'ed bottom of tonematch and top of stand tray. Nice and snug. Spare me the "but you have to carry another two pieces".

I don't velcro the T1® to the mic stand, I velcro the ToneMatch cable (that locks into the T1®) to the mic stand.

I can't take a picture tonight - everything is packed up for a show - sorry. I hope this will do...

  1. There is a velcro strap on the black ToneMatch cable.

  2. I use the velcro to secure the ToneMatch cable to the microphone stand just above the Microphone Stand Adapter (the thing that clamps around the mic stand).

  3. Then I insert the ToneMatch cable into the T1®. It locks into place.

  4. At this point, most people would put the T1® on the bracket and attach the other cables.

I insert all the other cables into the T1® before I put it on the bracket. I do it this way because I have all my cables strapped to the microphone stand (I don't take them off between gigs). So there's no hanging stress from those either.

  5. Finally, I set the T1® on top of the bracket.

Does that help?
