Start up problem with the Li Mk2

Hi, I´ve had the system 10 days now,and I´ve played 7 gigs...Each time I have to turn the power switch on Twice to hear any sound...Then operation is faultless.Last night I turned on and off 3 Times! I´m worried that I have a faulty system.
Any advice appreciated.

How long are you waiting before you expect to hear sound? The L1's are NOT "instant on" devices; they can take several seconds to "check out" all the connections and the internal state of the components before "releasing" any sound.

Wait for the green power light, and you should have sound; if not ... call Bose.
Gareth,

The model II takes a few seconds to fully boot up and then turn the audio on. Make sure you are waiting the right amount of time.

Secondly, if you do reset the system for some reason, be sure to wait a full two or three seconds between turning it off and turning it back on.

Give that a shot and report back.

I am also having exactly the same problem, have since brand new. I bought 2 L1 M2 units, and this only happens with one of them. Sometimes I have to shut it off and turn that unit on 3 times before it works. And, no, it has nothing to do with the "wait" time before starting up.... it just never comes on, no matter how long one waits. One of the units has done this since brand new, not sure what to do. I don't want the unit to eventually fail on me, and then the warranty is up! Otherwise, once started, both units work wonderfully. What is the "reset" process mentioned above? I cannot find it in the manual documents. Thx, Keith

Just did as you suggested, spoke with "Alex". Although he was very thorough, there really is little you can do, as the problem is intermittent. So, I'm going to suffer through with it for a while longer, to see whether or not the problem gets worse, etc. I'm regularly gigging, and being without even just one of the L1s would be quite a hardship for me at this point. Thx.
