What other channels on the T4s mixer should I use to get a good sound on my mic? Please share suggestions on settings.

After you get the T4S to the S1 Pro we can focus on setting up the microphone.

Microphone Settings

Connect the wireless receiver to T4S channel 1.

Use this Preset.

Preset: Handheld Mics

Then we can load the Singer Songwriter Scene to give you some good initial settings for the microphone on channel 1

  1. Turn the Rotary Selector to Scenes
  2. Turn the left-most knob under the display until you see Singer Songwriter.
  3. Press the knob to select it.
  4. When it asks Are You Sure, press the knob to select it.

Now the microphone should sound great.

Backing Tracks with the iPad

You can learn how to connect your iPad to the T4S in this article.

That should get you going.

How do things sound?

Thank you so much. I was going crazy with not being able to get a good sound. I was thinking I would have to find a sound person to help me because the system was too sophisticated for me. I haven’t used the system live yet. I’m going to initiate it today. I’m nervous and exited at the same time.

Hi Barbara Ellen,

I understand. It may take a little time to find the sound that works for you and to get a good grasp on getting the right sound.

How did things sound last night?

Are there things you'd like to talk about here?

You can call Bose Support and they would be happy to walk you through using your system.
