Starting July 2, 2018
The S1 Pro will ship standard with the S1 Battery Pack included and pre-installed. The free backpack will be offered to owners of systems purchased on July 1, 2018 and earlier. To redeem your offer, visit https://bosebackpack.com/




This is going to be a popular offer so please be patient with the process and allow 8-12 weeks after you submit your claim for us to get the backpack to you,

I've looked at the confirmation. It says,

Claim status inquiries may be sent to Bose Corporation by email at support@bose.com.  Please allow 72 business hours for a response.

Did you send a status inquiry?  If not, then the 72 business hours is not applicable.

I hope that clears things up.

It should be automatic as every other online company I do business with offers. Thanks for your response, but nothing is cleared up by it. I sincerely appreciate Bose's generous offer to us early opters, but have increasing doubts I will receive my backpack. That won't end my satisfaction with my Bose S1 Pro, but it will be a black eye with Bose corporate.

You May want to follow up on your claim.  I submitted mine, got the same email reply “your claim was successfully submitted.  Once approved, you will receive your gift in 8-12 weeks”.   I never received the approval, so I sent an email to support.   Support said they could not find my submitted claim and I should call Specialty Sales.  I called Specialty Sales and she said I had to resubmit my claim.  I did resubmit and it said, “your claim has already been submitted”? 

When I find the answer to this, I will let everyone know.  I think I have been through 3 different departments as they pass me along.  Trying to keep a positive attitude going forward, but just a little frustrated.  I appreciate Bose offering this and was excited to soon receive it.  Now at a minimum, looks like my 8-12 weeks has not even began.  

Anyone else had an issue like this that could offer some advice?

Here's an update about the process.

The automated email response is the confirmation of a successful submission.  

Don't expect another email.

In Marty's case he got redirected inappropriately. I'm sorry.

It takes 8-12 weeks to process and deliver the backpacks which is why Bose Specialty Sales was unable to locate an associated order transaction yet.

Hi, I purchased my S1 pro here in Sydney, Australia on June 7, 2018. I paid extra to purchase the battery as it did not come with it. 

The online claim form says "Asia Pacific customers: Offer valid on Bose S1 System purchases made between January 1, 2018 – July 1, 2018." 

However Australia is not on the drop-down list of Countries. Is there any other way to claim this offer?

The offer for the free backpack starts on July 2nd, 2018 in Australia and applies to units purchased before then.

"Asia Pacific customers: Offer valid on Bose S1 System purchases made between January 1, 2018 – July 1, 2018. " 

Australia and other Asia Pacific countries will be available in the Country drop-down list on July 2nd. 

You will be able to fill in the form then.

Its Preecha here from Perth, AUSTRALIA

I have just purchased a long awaited S1 PRO with the optional battery on 16 th June 2018 here in PERTH , Australia.

I LUV IT its a great new toy. ( I already have seceral L1 compacts) and was waiting for the L1 compact to come with the mobile battery like the JBL EON)

but did i just wasted my $$$ on the optional battery as you are saying they will ship free very soon ?

How can i claim my S1 backpack pls? In the link above i could NOT choose AUSTRALIA ?!

Furthermore, it said my S/N is not a valid one ?

it starts with .....0771.......

ends with .....083AE

I am Dying for a bag for it.

The search lead me to this forum.

We've had a few people tell us that their serial number is being rejected in the form at http://bosebackpack.com.

If you have this problem, please try again.

Serial numbers are 17-characters (numbers and letters). Here is a picture of the label on the bottom of an S1 Pro where you will find your serial number.

Note: The serial number found in the Bose Connect App or through the Bose Updater site (http://btu.bose.com) is not valid for this offer.

If you encounter any issues when entering your serial number, please double check the number, and ensure you are entering the number from the bottom of the product. If you still continue to experience issues, please give a call to your regional support group so they can assist. If you are in North America, the number is 877-335-2673.

In the UK and the Americas:

Customers who purchased the S1 Pro before May 10th, 2018 received the unit, a power cord, and a simple slip cover. They had to pay extra for the optional rechargeable battery. Those customers qualify for the free backpack offer.

The S1 Pro you get today comes with the rechargeable battery included. The backpack and slip cover are both optional accessories.

I emailed Support to ask, but got this reply:

The S1 Pro is being handled by a special group, and it would be best if you get in touch with our Product and Technical Support Team at (800)-367-4008 during weekdays from 9AM to 9PM EST and during Saturdays from 9AM to 7PM EST for real-time assistance.

So I'm going to try this tomorrow.

I have faith that Bose will come through on this generous offer, and I look forward to the backpack. Love my S1, and everyone I demonstrated it to, wants one too. Used it recently in a parade float to play dance music. Was IDEAL!
