no Netflix sound( hissing ) from Samsun tv

Hi

i just bought 2 Bose L1 m1s with b2 sub. With optical out from my Samsung tv I was able to hear sound coming out from my tv. When I tried to watch Netflix from my tv. There is no clear sound, only hissing sound. Can anyone help.

Thanks for the interesting post. I don't hear a connection to your Bose equipment. The Bose systems do not have optical inputs.

From my tv audio out I use optical converter to analog LR then connect to T4 tonematch channel 3 and 4. I was able to watch YouTube and sing karaoke. When tried to watch movie from Netflix there was no sound, only hissing sound. Help!

 

Have you subscribed to Netflix or is it a "non-subscription" route, could be something to do with where you are streaming from - an authorised netflix server or an alternative source?

Is there an alternative output from the TV such as 3.5mm headphones or bluetooth connectivity?
