Introduction
Homegrown in Tiny, Ontario, Ariko features the rich vocal harmonies and dynamic fiddle stylings of the Lefaive sisters along with a driving and energetic rhythm section delivered by their parents Laura and Louis and friend Rick Patenaude. Their repertoire consists of fiddle driven original and traditional music performed in English and French. Ariko is presently on tour throughout the province of Ontario in Canada playing festivals, community centres and schools.

ST encouraged me to share these recordings with you.

The songs were recorded live off the floor but through the mixer direct to  hard drive. We only used the mics that were being used through a single L1 Model II with 4 B1s so what went to the audience went to the hard drive.

If you play the recordings through an L1 with 4 B1s you would hear exactly what the audience did. I played them back on my S1 pro and they sounded very close to the full stack just not as loud.

Here we go,enjoy

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.<

Thanks Troubador and thanks for listening.

Do you use a T1?<

Yes we do we have 4 T1s between us and I recently purchased a T8S.

If so, did you connect the T1 by USB to a computer to do the recording?<

No. For this gig we used a mixer that you can plug a hard drive directly into .

Nice to see fellow-Ontarians with their L1 setup ... if you're ever in the L5B area, let me know; would love to try and see you live!<

We have played @ Hughes room live recently and hoping to return in the next year. Most of our stuff coming up is in Northern Ontario. There is  something in Oshawa  Feb. sometime but that is as close as we get to Mississauga that I know.

Is there anywhere we might catch you in action?

Yes I did see that you're in Oshawa in Feb ...

Ha ha ... you don't want to catch me in action. I'm just an amateur. Doing some open mic's in the 'ssauga area for now. You guys are terrific.

Thanks for sharing your setup. I really love the sound from the Bose systems - my L1 M2 and my S1.

Merci beaucoup.

Nothing wrong with putting yourself out there. The Girls have been at this for years and yet they feel the same. We are all our own worst critics. Thanks for the compliment.

You are off to a good start with that set up.

@Starvin Incidentally I just looked at a map - Tiny, ON is less than a 2 hour drive from the 'ssauga! Maybe a nice drive up in the summer if you're performing there!

Salud!

That would be cool. We do a Canada day celebration at the Penetangueshene Museum every July 1st if you are so inclined.

Hey guys

Just got back from our last mini tour. It started in Wawa Ont. then Chapleau,Hearst, Kapuskasing and finally Timmins.

We had a great time , met some really nice, interesting people and saw some cool things. You have to love that northern hospitality.

We brought the Bose setup for what we thought was the one school workshop we had. The rest of the tour was supposed to be sound supplied.  Thank God for that school because 3 of the venues either had sub-standard PA or no PA at all.

We ended up using our Bose set up for one reason or another on 4 of the 5 venues and had nothing but good reviews. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the school set up in Wawa.

This is our Bose set up at Hearst, Kapuskasing and finally Timmons.

Kapuskasing The Qsc system you see was for the Dj and wouldn't have worked for us it was too boomy and had all sorts of feedback. Our Bose system is truly a room tamer we had none of those issues.march 122

Timmons: We used our system over theirs because we didn't feel comfortable using the one supplied . We did use their subs as stands for our system.

 Love My Bose!
