L1 Model II

Let's talk about the L1® Portable Line Array Systems

Using proprietary Bose® technology, L1 systems combine  PA and monitors into a single, highly portable unit. The  loudspeaker can be positioned behind or to the side —and you hear what the audience hears.

Highly portable PA and monitor combined for solo performers, DJs and general-purpose use. Fixed vertical control with 180° horizontal coverage Reduced vulnerability to feedback.

Three systems to choose from (Compact, Model 1S, Model II)
Two passive bass module options (B1 or B2)
Consistent coverage and tonal balance, portability and easy setup.

First time I have brought the L1 model II base 2 with T4s for karaoke in the church basement,  The sound came out terrible worst than the street karaoke system.

My friend set up as following:

T4S channels:

* 1 and 2 connected to a Shure wireless PG58.

* 3 connected to a bluetooth transmitter & receiver Model B03 (Bluetooth B03).

My friend finally found out and changed that the stereo cable to mono cable from the bluetooth B03, the sound improved much better from the karaoke to L1 system.  However, the vocal for the shure wireless for channel 1 and 2 have set to Shure PG58 and could not change the effect or anything.

Do you have any idea or any suggestion?  I am so embarrassed to friends that I always say Bose is the best!  I know that we don't know how to connect or etc...

Greatly appreciated your help.

Hi Peterpham,

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry your first experience with your Bose system and friends was not more successful.  This is why it is always a good idea to rehearse with your system before performing.

Let's talk about your Bluetooth receiver.  You need to connect it like this.

Using a cable like this will provide both left and right sides of the stereo signal to the T4S.

Here is an example of the cable you can use
Hosa CMP-159 3.5 mm TRS to Dual 1/4" TS Stereo Breakout Cable.

I'll have more suggestions soon.

Hi Peterpham,

I would use this ToneMatch Preset for the microphone channels (1 and 2).

Category: Vocal Mics
Preset: Handheld Mics

Here is a video to help you set up the microphones.

Please follow the suggestions in these to replies and tell us what you hear.

Thank you,
