L1 Compact / S1 Features

I just saw this..  and I AM a Bose Guy, I am NOT a Peavey guy, BUT .. ..

TWELVE drivers, 12" sub, 1200 watts, FOUR full channels, EQ, FX, integrated screen, walkaround app, line input/Bluetooth, mix out ..

Wouldn't these features be fantastic behind a Bose Logo!

This one clicks all the boxes for what many of us have asked for, except it is not Bose.

If someone comes up with all these features and real good sound, Bose might wish they had updated some of the features we've asked for.

I remember when Bose changed the name from Personalized Amplification System, because the acronym PAS was owned by someone else. They wanted to name the system something they could take into the future and dominate the portable line array field. At that time they were the only player in the field, but obviously, they knew competition was coming.

I just hope they don't sit still too long. This one fills a gap in the L1 lineage that needed filling.

Anything really good will be copied and the plethora of copies proves that Cliff Henricksen is a genius.

O..

Oldghm, totally agree with you. I really love my L1 Compacts, they still impress me with the quality of sound and room coverage they produce. I also own a pair of EV Evolve 50s, they hit much harder than my Compacts, sound great for DJ application, but when I grab a mic and my guitar the Compacts and a T1 mixer is still my go to system. It would be really cool to see a bigger compact with onboard dsp and a few more channels.
