I used an incorrect speakon speaker cable when connecting two of my L II systems to their B1 subs. The incorrect speakon cables were wired +1,-1. I used this cable to connect from the base to the first B1 sub then a correct BOSE cable to connect to a second B1 sub. The speakers made a slight squeak then a hiss and finally a small pop. The overload light does turn from green to yellow under load but then turn red. I promptly turned them off.

I know I need to send the base units back. Can you tell me what I need for shipping. Also, do you have an idea how much damage I have done and what an estimated repair cost might be.  Wire picture below.

Been using these since 2005. Traded in the old base units for the new ones. Used them to DJ. Now retired. Playing in a band. Old retired guys. "Three Chords and a Beer". BOSE still rocks. Would still be if it wasn't for a wrong cable getting in my cable bag...
