Hum from powerstand

I have recently noticed a hum coming from the powerstand of my L1 Compact, not the speakers. As you increase the volume the hum becomes louder.  My guitars are equipped with LR Baggs Microphones. My signal chain is guitar-Fishman Pro EQ-TC Helicon Play Acoustic- T1 Tonematch mixer-Bose L1 Compact. Hi bpipke,

Thank you for writing. I'm sorry you've got a hum coming from the powerstand of your L1® Compact.

You probably won't hear a hum from the speaker array because it handles only mid-high frequency sounds. Low frequences (like a typical hum) are directed only to the power stand.

As you increase the volume the hum becomes louder.

It sounds like you have a ground loop

Please ensure that everything that requires AC power is connected to same power source (e.g., power strip).

You may be picking up some interference in the connection from the T1 to the L1® Compact.

We recommend you connect the T1 to the L1® Compact this way.

T1 Master Output to L1® Compact channel 2 (1/4 inch (6.3mm) Tip-Ring-Sleeve cable).

Please see this article for details: T1 to L1 Compact

Does that help?
