L1 Model II

Let's talk about the L1® Portable Line Array Systems

Using proprietary Bose® technology, L1 systems combine  PA and monitors into a single, highly portable unit. The  loudspeaker can be positioned behind or to the side —and you hear what the audience hears.

Highly portable PA and monitor combined for solo performers, DJs and general-purpose use. Fixed vertical control with 180° horizontal coverage Reduced vulnerability to feedback.

Three systems to choose from (Compact, Model 1S, Model II)
Two passive bass module options (B1 or B2)
Consistent coverage and tonal balance, portability and easy setup.

I just upgraded from the t4s mixer to the T8s and am trying to hook up an external speaker (we're playing a large room in December and we need more sound.

I plugged in the speaker...but get a buzzing noise.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

The buzzing noise could be a ground loop.

Are the T8S and the external loudspeaker connected to the same power source?

Are you using a balanced connection between the T8S and the external loudspeaker (XLR or 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) Tip-Ring-Sleeve)?

For more ideas please see

Does that help?

If not, please give us

  • A link to the owner's guide for your external loudspeaker
  • Details about how you are connecting the T8S to the external loudspeaker
    • On the T8S - what output are you using?
    • What kind of cable?
    • What input are you using on the external loudspeaker?
    • What is the volume or trim setting on the external loudspeaker?

Thanks,

ST
