DJ's and KJ's - Post Pics of your L1 setups

This picture is from a ceremony. But here is the deal. This is what I love about my Bose - you DON'T notice the set up. The sound covered the entire area well & clear as can be. But you do not see big ugly speakers on sticks / and the sound is not coming from behind everybody.
This is how I use my Compact most the time. This and wireless coverage in another area.
A question for you experienced L1 Model 2 users....I am seeing many using 2 L1 model 2's ....I was thinking of buying this and was told by sales that I only need one L1 model 2 with the B2 bass for extra thump and that will work perfect for up to a 500 person wedding. So is that true or do I need two L1 model 2s for this?

Thank you all very much for your help and expertise.

I have two L1m2+B2 systems and almost exclusively use only one of them no matter how many people. The deciding factor is not the number in the audience but the shape and size of the room, I only ever use a second system if I have an odd shaped or very wide room where one system would not cover part of that room.

If the number of people is so great that the sound from one system is inadequate then two of them is going to make little difference excepting the above.
This is a picture of my setup at the recent Couples for Christ 20th Year Anniversary Ball held at the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland New Zealand. The ballroom was huge and this stage was right in the middle of the room. They opened the whole floor and there's about 250-300 couples in the ballroom. I did not expect the size of this room until I started setting up. The sound coming from the 2 L1's was not loud enough on the other side of the room. Lucky I have my compact as you can see on the left hand side of the stage. This setup filled the whole ballroom with clear sound as well as the speeches and singing performances. Thanks BOSE for another successful gig.
Well said!!!

Hi spinmasterjay,

You can probably get more bass by getting longer B2 cables so you can put the two B2s together. Consider stacking them under your table or in front of it. If you glance back through this discussion you will see several pictures where the bass modules are stacked and in the middle. And if they are not visible at all, that's because they are under the table or behind a facade.

This could give you up to +3dB through acoustic coupling.

You may actually be losing some bass the way you have things now through Multiple Source Interference. Putting the B2s together will eliminate that possibility.

Try putting the B2s together and see how you like that.

edited for clarity.
Hi DJ Aziz Masudi,

Thanks for posting the video. It looks like you are happy with your F1.

You had me a little confused though. In the captions (white text) you refer to the 802 when you were talking about the F1 Model 812.
