Discussions about the Bose S1 Pro system

Bose S1 Pro

Designed for musicians, DJs and general PA use, the S1 Pro is the ultimate all-in-one PA, floor monitor and practice amplifier that's ready to be your go-anywhere Bluetooth music system for nearly any occasion.

This is the place to discuss the S1 Pro system.

Is this possible, to connect my T4S Tonematch mixer to my Bose S1 Pro? I think the Bose S1 sounds fine by itself but I think there would be so many more options if I could connect the T4S.

I am a solo singer and guitarist, and also a children's storyteller, and this would be great for smaller venues, coffee shops, etc.

Thank you

Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community.

Yes, you can connect the T4S ToneMatch mixer to your S1 Pro.

  1. Leave the T4S and S1 Pro turned off until you have things connected
  2. Connect the T4S power supply to the T4S (T4S power supply sold separately)
  3. Connect the T4S Right Output to S1 Pro channel 1 or 2

    • Use a 1/4 inch Tip-Ring-Sleeve cable for best results
      See the source image
  4. On the S1 Pro channel:
    • Turn off the reverb
    • Set both tone controls to the center position
    • Set the channel volume off
  5. Turn on the T4S
    • On the T4S
      1. Set the Rotary Selector to PAN/AUX
      2. Press the CH EDIT button for each channel you are using and pan the input hard RIGHT
      3. Note: Steps 1 and 2 above are one-time-only. You don't have to change this unless you get another S1 Pro and want to run in stereo
  6. Connect all your sound sources to the T4S
  7. Turn on the S1 Pro
  8. Bring up the channel volume on the S1 Pro to the center position

You should be ready to go.

Does that help?

Same steps for the T8S Tonematch connecting to the S1 Pro?

Set the volume on the S1 Pro at 10:00 o'clock, ToneMatch switch off. Tone controls at 12:00 o'clock, Reverb off.
