Update December 12, 2018
Bose Connect App version 7.0.1 (IOS) is being rolled out. It should be available to everyone within a week through the Apple App Store.
This fixes the connection issue where the Bose Connect App would not connect to the S1 Pro system.
Thank you for your patience.

Please do not update the Bose Connect App to version 7.0 if you are running IOS (iPad, iPhone)
We have identified an issue affecting connectivity of the Bose Connect app with some of our S1 Pro systems. In some scenarios the app may not connect to the S1 Pro system and you won't be able to initiate Stereo mode or Party mode. You still should be able to connect directly from your device via Bluetooth, but not through the Bose Connect App.
If you are using Bose Connect App version 6.3.1 and see the option in the app to do the update - DO NOT do the update.
If you have already installed the new version of the Bose Connect app please try to connect to another Bose Connect app compatible speaker and then re-test your S1 Pro.
If that doesn't work, you can still use Bluetooth (without the app). If you are running two S1 Pro systems, you can use a wired connection from the first S1 Pro line out to the second S1 Pro system for party mode. There's no workaround for stereo.
I'll post a message here when we get this resolved.
Thanks for your understanding.
Edit: new information
Only IOS (iPad, iPhone) users are affected by this problem. You should not experience a problem if you are using an Android device.
If you’ve already updated, please try to connect to another Bose Connect app compatible speaker and then re-test your S1 Pro.
