Discussions about the new Bose S1 Pro

Bose S1 Pro

Designed for musicians, DJs and general PA use, the S1 Pro is the ultimate all-in-one PA, floor monitor and practice amplifier that's ready to be your go-anywhere Bluetooth music system for nearly any occasion.

This is the place to discuss the S1 Pro system.

Bose Connect App version 6.1.0 is available now for the S1 Pro system (May 31, 2018)

More news.

We've seen cases where people were seeing Version 6.0.0 on one phone and Version 6.1.0 on another. We can't control what happens once we publish to these platforms. It may take several days for the new versions to be available everywhere.

I'm sorry this was so frustrating for some people.

I had no problem updating the firmware on my S1 Pro, nor downloading the current version of the app. What I found disappointing is that there is no support for my Soundlink III in the app. Several of the other devices, that ARE supported are much lower end than the Soundlink III (Soundlink Color, for example) and yet are supported by the app.

Hopefully Bose will rectify this situation with an update to the Soundlink III in the future. (It does have a micro-USB update port on it)

Hi St,

I just got off the phone with a Supervisor at Bose Support and his name is Eric. What incredible service. It took about an hour, but we finally discovered why I couldn't connect to Bose Updater. The culprit was the  Avast Antivirus Software and once I shut it down we were able to connect to Bose Updater and update the S1 Pro Firmware.

I must say the S1 Pros sound fantastic in Stereo. Thanks to you ST and Eric in Bose Support for taking the time to resolve my problem.

Just thinking, it would be so cool to be able to connect multiple (more than two) S1 Pros for a true party mode. I have six and it would be amazing to be able to link them wirelessly. Imagine all six running on battery + wireless. wow!

Hi sparkysings,

Yes, the Bose Connect app is up to version 6.2.2

The will update itself automatically when there are updates.

This release primarily enables Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant capabilities for QC35 II headphones, in conjunction with a firmware update (3.1.8) for the headphones.

What's new in Bose Connect 6.2.2:
