I am a recent purchaser of an S1 (which BTW is not listed as a product when registering).

I installed the Android version of the Bose Connect App and cannot connect my Samsung Galaxy to the Bose Connect App. I installed the update from my computer successfully, plugged in the S1 to my computer using a Micro USB connection with no success. Any ideas or help here?

Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community.  Welcome.

It sounds like you've done all the right things.

  • Installed the latest version of the Bose Connect App on your Samsung Galaxy
  • Updated the S1 Pro system from http://btu.bose.com using a USB cable. This is only necessary if you go the website and it tells you there's an update available. If it doesn't then the unit has the latest version of the firmware.

If you've done both steps then please call Bose Support. They can help you to register your S1 Pro system and work with you to diagnose the connection issue.
