Let's talk about the L1® Portable Line Array Systems

Highly portable PA and monitor combined for solo performers, DJs and general-purpose use. Fixed vertical control with 180° horizontal coverage Reduced vulnerability to feedback.

Three systems to choose from (Compact, Model 1S, Model II)
Two passive bass module options (B1 or B2)
Consistent coverage and tonal balance, portability and easy setup.

hello bose community,
I have a bose l1 compact sound system with bose audio tonematch t1. We use this system for our meditation hall about 25m long and 10m wide. the sound is low for the music celebrations so we decided to add external speakers to it but we got confused which speakers to add on it. We'll like to add speakers of same sound quality as l1 compact sound system . So please give me some suggestions about it

Hi Sushhil Khanal,

Thank you for joining the Community.

This is really easy. The L1® Compact as a line out connector on the back that allows you to connect a second L1® Compact.

Compact Daisy Chain

Please click the picture for more details.

In your room, I would put the two Compacts at  1/3 and 2/3 positions along the 25-meter wall.

Does that help?

Hello ST,
Thank you for your fast and informative response on this query of mine. I know how to connect second speaker or system in bose l1 compact but what i wanted to know was name of speakers that I can connect in this bose l1 compact. I don't want to buy second bose l1 compact. So, I would like to get some alternatives speakers name with the same like sound quality of bose or some alternatives from bose itself. Its like we have a big celebration hall for meditation purpose about 25 m long and 10 m wide  so can you suggest me some other speakers that I can use with this bose l1 compact so we can like dance with the full music in that kind hall.
Sincerely,
Sushil

Hi Sushil,

I thought very carefully about the size of your big celebration hall and that you want to use it for dance with full music.

I can't think of anything smaller than another L1® Compact for this purpose.

If you want the same sound quality, then you want another L1® Compact. If you think the L1® Compact is not loud enough for your music, the only alternatives to the L1® Compact would be a larger L1® like the L1® Model 1S or L1® Model II.  Both of these can provide much more bass than the Compact if that is what you need for your music.

Hello, for Delays I use 2 or more L 1 C © like ST shows here.

My Link shows for instance here an active Electro Voice 12" Box. I use these Boxes for other rooms with a XLR Coil on a Tripod stand.

From L 1 C Output to the Input of the EV Box

Same Quality is difficult. Famous USA Products like Meyer Sound are more expensive.

These (L1C & ZLX 12 P are made in China)

Hi Sushil,

Here's another reason to consider a second L1® Compact.  If you add another conventional loudspeaker, it will likely have a horizontal dispersion of 90-100 degrees. Your L1® Compact has a horizontal dispersion of 180 degrees.

Two Compacts can do a very good job covering a room like you described.

But if you use a conventional loudspeaker for the second speaker, you may have gaps in the coverage.
