L1 Model II

Let's talk about the L1® Portable Line Array Systems

Using proprietary Bose® technology, L1 systems combine  PA and monitors into a single, highly portable unit. The  loudspeaker can be positioned behind or to the side —and you hear what the audience hears.

Highly portable PA and monitor combined for solo performers, DJs and general-purpose use. Fixed vertical control with 180° horizontal coverage Reduced vulnerability to feedback.

Three systems to choose from (Compact, Model 1S, Model II)
Two passive bass module options (B1 or B2)
Consistent coverage and tonal balance, portability and easy setup.

I have the L1 array. The top part of the array has the 12 speakers, but the bottom half is just the stand. Can I add the bottom 12 speakers/stand to my system, and if so where can I purchase it. I have been looking and can't seem to find it online.

Thanks for any help

What size venue are you performing in? What size crowd? Do you feel the need for the extra projection of the Model 2 with 24 speakers? The 1s may be all you need.

Going the other direction to smaller venues, the Bose S1 Pro may also be worth considering.

Ha! Thanks for the offer but it's easier to make a living as a solo act.

Yes beautiful venue. I get to see that view every Sunday afternoon, and others like it throughout the week. I love my offices!

Yes definitely going to swap out the B1 for the B2 when I purchase the Model II. Or, save some money and not buy the B1 with the system...if they allow it.

I figured they wouldn't sell the systems in separate pieces or discount for not needed items.

Oh I know what it sounds like without a Bass Module. Had a problem at one of my gigs with the house electricity. The Bass Module would shut off every now and then for around ten seconds then would come back on. Really annoying. Sound went from Full Sounding to like you were listening to a cell phone speaker.
