Adding a second B2 Bass Module

Hi just after some advice

does adding a second B2 bass module to and L1 Model 2 system increase general overall headroom or just low headroom ?

also if I were to purchase the Packlite Power amp dose this allow me to use my B2`S with other configurations outside of the the L1 ?

cheers & thanks in advance

Adding an A1 PackLite Amp and a second B2 gives you more volume in the low frequencies (40-200 Hz). It does not affect the performance of the Cylindrical Radiator® (frequencies above 200 Hz).

The A1 PackLite amp and power one (not two) B2 bass modules.

For configuration outside the L1, we'd need to know more about that other situation to give you an informed answer.  To work with another system, that other system should have a low-frequency output (40-200 Hz).

Thanks ST

the other “toys” I was thinking of configuraring the B2s / PAcklite with would be 2 QSC CP 8s & a QSC TouchMix 16

please let me know if this is doable or otherwise 😀👍

many thanks !

Jerome

You can set up an Aux mix to feed the A1 PackLite and B2.  Use the Graphic EQ to send only frequencies below 200 Hz. See the QSC TouchMix 16 Manual (page 12). Similarly, use the Graphic EQ on the main outputs to send only the frequencies above 200 Hz.  You'll have to experiment to get the best sound.
