Well, I wondered if that was the case. I couldn't hear a difference between either setting, but I am surprized Bose Quality Control let that happen.

I hadn't really noticed the duplication until this past weekend when I had time to play with some different settings for my upright bass. I was playing with the David Gage presets and also trying other various combinations with both my WAV4 and Kay upright. I'm continuously looking for "the sound", like other bass players. Wink

I can't find the mellow tones on my WAV4, that I get from the old upright. But, I'm sure the string differences play a big part of that. Either way, I have some nice tones playing both through the L1/M2 and T1 combo.
