Does anyone have or know of any presets specific to the fishman pickups ? I see one setting under the bass category but none under acoustic guitar . I Have fishman under saddle pickups in one of my main guitars and also my mandolin and dobro and would like to see if anyone else may have found some. Thanks.

Hi Moman, There are no specific Presets for Fishman pickups, for guitar, mandolin, dobro. For the under saddle pickups - start with Category: Acoustic Guitar Preset: Steel String w/piezo Try the other Acoustic Guitar Presets too and then the Taylor Guitar Presets. For the Mandolin Category: Special Preset: Electric Mandolin And when you find a sound that is close to what you want you can fine time with zEQ and ParaEQ And here's a video with the basics. ST

Hi MoMan, That's a thoughtful idea. No, we don't have a place for sharing user settings. But if you share the settings that you like in this discussion, others who do a search for Fishman will find them. Which reminds me, I should have suggested that to you. Search results for Fishman ST

Thanks for the reply. I was just being lazy. I have been using the eq's to fine tune, it was just that as ubiquitous as the fishman products are and the fact that they are represented in the bass presets made me think maybe.....

I don't have an answer but it's a great question. I found both the Fishman and ES-2 pickups (Taylor) to be difficult with the T-1 L1Model II and Bass, especially at higher volumes or with a lot of room noise, and that the presets from Taylor didn't match. The low strings were louder and started feeding back and the leads on the high strings were lower and plinky on every Taylor preset and it was too extreme to manage with eq settings or adjusting the pick-up. I couldn't really lean into the...

Re: Using an external monitor with Bose L1 Model II

Hi, Ioni Creek. Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community. Welcome. Thank you for the interesting question. As you probably know, performing in front of the L1 reduces the need for extra monitors. Sometimes it's not possible to stand in a position where you can hear yourself. Sometimes there are so many voices and instruments coming through the L1 that it's difficult to pick out just one for monitoring. Bose introduced the Bose S1 Pro last year. It is a multi-function device and...

Using an external monitor with Bose L1 Model II

Ioni Creek ·
I am in a Bluegrass band using a Bose L1 Model II with B2 Base. Our Dobro player cannot hear his notes if he connects his Dobro into the system. I need to capture the audio from the Mixer before it gets mixed up with the crowd noise so I need everything going through the Tonematch Mixer. Do you know of anyone who has had this issue? Do you think I could use a stage monitor for him so he could hear? If so, do you have a product recommendation? Thanks,

Banjo James, do you use that setting for a mandolin or for other instruments as well? Might seem like a dumb question but I wasn’t sure what other instruments your k&k pickups were in. Thanks!

Although I don't play a dobro, I do play three other K&K pickups- banjo twin, Definity and Trinity Western and I've found the Mandolin Shertler PU (in the Breedlove package) works really nice. I use a T1, and L1 MII. Good luck, James

For the banjo with Definite, it's the same setting for the mando with banjo twin system. I use this banjo twin on my F-style mando because I had it as a spare when I purchased the Definity. These two uses the same cable. On the Martin D16, it uses the Trinity only with a minor volume adjustment.
