Hi Tony, 100 megabytes. For me, that's one BIG picture, 50 minutes of audio at 256, 12-15 minutes of video at 1080p. Have fun! ST

Hi ST, now that's what I call a quick reply. 100MB was what I thought I'd read somewhere, but I've no idea where I read it. Thanks. That's one of the really BIG changes here. Definitely a very positive improvement. BTW, dann you tell me how you do the quote bit with the background colors, large quotation marks etc.? Thanks. Cheers, Tony

Hi ST, I thought I'd read somewhere something regarding file size limits, but I may be wrong as I can't seem to find it any more. Do you know what the limits on file sizes are for Images/audio files/videos? Thanks, and by the way, I think you're doing a really great job trying to help everyone to adapt to the new forum. Take care, Tony

You've got it! Oh - and the place that you saw that 100 MB limit was in the dialog box that appears when you add an attachment. ST

Ich finde dein Kellerraum sehr schön Andreas. Willkommen im Forum. Tony I don't have a useable basement in my house. I am however allowed to do this, especially when we have a living room party.

It sounded very nice. The ceiling was high but I still ran the C position. This was my first time running without the subs. The Bose F1 Model 812 is no slouch on low end running full range.

Thank you! That night myself and our singer tried in ear monitors in a live setting for the first time. We ended up ditching them after the first set. It was a weird feeling being isolated from all the crowd noise. Typically I use three 12" EV-ZLX speakers as our monitors, but I left two of them at home since we were trying out the in ears. Our drummer was the only one who had an EV monitor in this pic. Luckily I had my compact with me in my car so I just plugged it in and it worked out...

I would be interested to hear that comparison as well. I have yet to hear a S1 Pro in person. From what I've read it sounds like they work great for acoustic bands. Not sure how they would hold up with a typical 3-5 piece rock band.

Re: Big weekend for the S1 Pro!

Always nice to see these reports and how everything is faring with the S1 Pro. Saturday the 28th will be my first BIG test with it outdoors. I will be playing the Knoxville Earthfest Celebration and Festival for Earth Day....and attendance is between 5-6000 throughout the day. All entertainment has NO power source available. Everything is acoustic and as far as I know I am the only one who will have any amplified sound. There will be video for sure for my own evaluations and I will certainly...

Thanks for the solid feedback JD, and the great photos to illustrate your points! I'm just amazed at the versatility and effectiveness of the S1 Pro. A buddy of mine use to say, when you keep seeing something amazing, "You can say "Wow!" only so many times." Well, with the S1 Pro, I'm still saying "Wow!"

That's impressive, JD. I have not used my Bose S1 Pro for anything that large, yet. It has definitely been a solution for venues where there is no AC power available, but I will start using it where I can plug in, too.

Big weekend for the S1 Pro!

jdbassentertainment.com ·
I used the S1 Pro systems last weekend and got amazing results! First for a Sport and Recreation Show (2 day event) the first day I used three S1 Pros (see first picture) I had two up way high and one lower... I was responsible for making all announcements and playing background music... to be heard through out the whole space... I was told the three S1 Pros where too loud! So... on day two I did the decided ti give a single S1 a whirl... it worked!!! That's right, one S1 Pro about 9' in the...

@DJ BennyB cool setup. You are right about the system's ability to handle rap and hip-hop. If it could not, I would not have purchased.

My set up last weekend for prom. The F1 stacks handled all the rap music the kids could throw at them. Nothing but great reviews after it was all said and done.

This was during sound check on Saturday. We normally set up L1 Model II systems for concerts like this, but we had the F1 stacks in place so we used them instead. Great sound out front. @jdbassentertainment.com I got to try the Shure KSM9 microphone through the F1s. I agree with you, that's a nice microphone. If I needed another high-end microphone, it would be a contender for sure. ST

Re: How do I connect an LI Model I and an LI Model II, with a T4S mixer? And is it even possible, or a good idea?

ST ·
Hi DMC, The L1 Model II performs like the L1 Model I except mid-high frequencies are more evenly distributed at the extreme left and right. Using the L1 Model I and L1 Model II on the same stage is not much louder than the L1 Model I alone. However, you can increase your horizontal coverage by the distance between the two L1 systems. For example, if you put the L1 systems 20 feet apart then you will increase the horizontal dispersion by 20 feet. For more coverage, you can put the L1 systems...

How do I connect an LI Model I and an LI Model II, with a T4S mixer? And is it even possible, or a good idea?

DMC ·
I am a solo act, singer and guitarist, and am playing bigger stages now. Please tell me if purchasing an LI Model II is even a good idea, and if I can connect it to my Model I for a bigger sound for more people and bigger stages. And, in addition to buying the new Model II, do I need to purchase anything else, like cords or something? Please answer as best you can with PICTURES. That'd make it much easier to understand! Thanks!

Re: How do I connect an LI Model I and an LI Model II, with a T4S mixer? And is it even possible, or a good idea?

ST ·
Hi DMC, There's only one mixer in the picture; the T4S. You don't need a second mixer. You will connect the T4S to the L1 Model II using the ToneMatch port with the ToneMatch cable that comes with the T4S. That's the green line in the picture above. You're welcome. ST

Thanks for posting! I have a further question: In the picture above there is a mixer other than the T4S. Do I need a second mixer then to connect the Model I and the Model II, or can I just go directly from the T4S mixer's OUT to the Model II? Thanks again for replying
