We are a newly formed, all female, 4 piece rock band that needs to start buying PA equipment. We have drums, bass, lead guitar, and we alternate between keys and rhythm guitar. We also have 3 vocal mics. We currently use amps for bass and guitars, and run our vocals and keyboard through an inadequate L1 compact for practice as our gigs aren't until summer. We want a PA system that will work for small outdoor events with less than 100 people. Could one L1 Model II system with B2 bass work for this? We have 2 JBL Eon 15 G2 powered speakers, but everyone is telling us that they aren't great for our needs. We have a Mackie 1642-VLZ pro 16 channel mic/line mixer which we have also been told is pretty sub par. We want to get set-up right from the start and like the idea of a Bose system so we don't deal with monitors. If the L1 isn't enough power, could we build on it and add more components to make work? We also want to be able to carry our own equipment. Any help you could give us would be great, you seem to all know a lot.
