Thanks ST, yep it works yet as I think you've mentioned somewhere else on this website, you do not have an access to volume control on either the source of the sound (iPad/iPhone/iPod) nor on the dedicated knob (it doesn't exist on T8S/T4S) but only via main volume control... T4S Audio Driver does not work with iPad DJ app

AUDIO DRIVER. My DJ app in IPAD still can not map out T4 mixer just like T1. Wondering why other digital mixer like behringer, presonus, yamaha (any mixer with usb) can be detected and configured/mapped. Hope there is updated so the audio driver will behave like that of mentioned mixers. rolly wagasRead More...

Cover / Back Pack

Note impressed . Purchased my S1 in June so I am out of luck for the back pack. I am surprised the S1 did not come with a padded cover of some sort like the L1. The price for the back is unreasonable $175 US !! That is over 25% of the value of the unit. Bose pays a small fraction of this to have the back pack manufactured. I must be missing something ?Read More...

T4S and T1 channels and audio driver

Just upgraded from T1 to T4S for additional channels and hoping audio driver is supported by IPAD. Additional channels: Seems no channel added coz 5/6 is not a dedicated one. It has to be routed to any of the 1,2,3,4 channels in order to be controlled, and worse, you need two channels to make it stereo. USB from PC can only be routed to main, aux, channels 3 and 4. We are losing channels again if we use 3 and 4 for stereo set up, while aux and main is ridiculous coz aux has no dedicated...Read More...
Stereo input is critical to my set up because not only I do One Man Band with backing track, I also DJ (main + pre cue), and Karaoke, all in my IPAD PRO. My DJ app needs stereo, even my backing track, and karaoke to sound better with my stereo powered speakers system. I think, T1 will work better for me for the meantime, even without dedicated stereo out, but with USB from my IPAD to channel 4/5 plus analog input (4/5) with dedicated control (volume knob) and processing (eq, compressor,...Read More...

Any experience using the TC Helicon Play Acoustic with L1B1?

Hello - I am looking into purchasing a TC-Helicon-Play-Acoustic-Effects and would love your input if you've used it with the L1? Currently, I am only using an RC-20 loop station, no effects on the guitar and usually a tiny bit of reverb on the vocals (12%-15% w/45% body). Any and all input would be helpful!Read More...
I've been using my TC through Channel 1 for vocals and Channel 2 for guitar for a couple of years now. I use the vocal effects in the TC and shut them off on the T1. I use the Rez in the TC and some other limited TC coloring for the guitar. I also run it through a TC chorus pedal for certain tunes before it hits the T1. BTW, I also shut off the effects on Channel 2 on the T1. I have been very pleased with it. In addition to the above, I have a Soundcraft board that I use to run three...Read More...

Battery Behavior

I have two S1 Pros. When I got my first one, I charged it fully and used it for several shows (I'm a magician and I use it for a vocal mic and background music from an iPod). When I finished my third show, it was down to flashing twice which is supposed to mean 25% to 49% battery life. I didn't use it for five days and then turned it on for a show. It was completely dead. I plugged it in and used it with AC. I called Bose to see what tech support would say about it because that's not the...Read More...

My S1 Pro systems are getting lots of airplay. There are plenty of occasions where being to run on batteries makes a huge difference. It's more than just the logistical standpoint (where's the power?). In an intimate social setting, being able set up and play without intruding on others' space is huge. Some of you will relate to setting big boxes on sticks and having people moving away or cringing and saying, "Are you going to be loud?". Most of that went away when we started using our L1...Read More...

S1 Pro Backpack - remove the straps?

Mike in Texas
Curious - has anyone REMOVED the backpack-STRAPS? I will 100% NEVER carry this or anything else ON my old bad back, just haven't gotten up the nerve to cut the straps off.. They are sure in-the-way for carrying it like a bag. It is very nice, useful and well thought out, but I would much prefer wheels and a telescopic handle. MAYBE I'll search for a bag like that the right size and SELL the S1 bag.. Hmmm.. .. .. :-} Always thinkin..Read More...
I ended up going with an Arriba Cases AC-125 bag for my S1 Pros (I have two). The bag is pretty close to the size of the S1 Pro but the padding isn't too thick so I also purchased a custom padded cover. I put the cover on and then put it in the Arriba bag. It's a pretty good fit. I'm kind of picky so I, also, put a piece of corrugated plastic in the bottom of the bag to give it more structure.
