Perform as well as record on MAC

Hello Bose Community, I've been a silent observer here and have learned a lot from the discussions here. I searched on the question I have but could not find any and hence my first post. My setup: Bose L1 model II T1 tonematch TC Helicon voicelive 3 extreme MAC laptop with logic Pro X Shure SM58 My microphone is connected to voicelive3 which further connects to tonematch 3 I'd like to record when I am performing for my audience. This might be a very basic question to many here, but I am not...Read More...

Reduced sound when using Tone match with L1 Compact - need help

Hi there. I'm a singer/guitar player using the Tone Match with the L1 Compact. I cannot get the same volume and clarity in the vocals without feedback when using the Tone Match vs. just connecting my mic directly to the L1 vocal input. I'm using a TRS balanced cable to connect the Tone Match to the L1 compact. I have 3 vocal mics and 1 guitar running through the Tone Match. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Read More...

Hi RAJESH, Great question. To use a condenser microphone (that requires 48V phantom power), you will need a phantom power supply. The L1® Compact does not provide phantom power. You will need something like this. Single channel 48 Volt Phantom Power Supply. Does that help? STRead More...

Hi Tim, Thank you for joining the Community. Your L1® Model 1S draws 2 - 3 amps at 120 volts depending on how loud you're running the sound. I'll leave it to you to do the math and factor in inefficiency in the inverter and how much you are willing to deplete your batteries. Hi Rich, Maybe there's an issue with the Alessis AC adapters (in combination with the L1® Compact). Do you have another sound source that uses AC power, that does NOT use a wall wart type adapter? If so please connect it to the L1® Compact. Do you still hear the hum? Do you have a DI box with a ground lift switch? If so, try putting that between the Alessis and the L1® Compact. Does that make a difference? If you have a chance to try these ideas before you call Bose Support that would be...Read More...

Hi Bob, For the stomp box Attenuate means to reduce, so we're carving away the sounds we don't want. I would start here: The Level is - 10.0 (minus ten). We're removing sound - turning down the tapiness. Freq is 150. The simulator I have won't do exactly 150 Hz (that's why it says 151). There's nothing exact about this. So you can move this value up and down. Width is 2.00 oct The simulator I have won't do exactly 2.00 oct (that's why it says 199). This means we're reducing the sound in the...Read More...

About the position of an L1 compact in an open stage

First of all, please forgive my poor English. Now, recently I bought one L1 Compact and one T1, - I'm very happy for this - and I use them in an open auditorium in Mexico City.
