using the T4S as a separate mix for monitors

Would like to use the T4S mixer as a separate mix through another main mixer, just for the vocals in monitors. The main mixer would be for the sound in front of house, and the T4S would be just the monitor mixer, Is this possible? Also, plugging in a mic in my main miser, how would that communicate with the T4S? Or wouldn't it. ThanksRead More...
Hi gerardsound, How many monitor mixes are you running? (e.g., how many performers need to hear something different). How many monitors do you have? What are they (make/model). Please give us a link to the owners manual for the main mixer (need to understand how many monitor outputs it has). Thanks, STRead More...

Hi troubador. It's in standby mode to conserve power. It does that after it's been idle for about an hour. See: S1 Pro system LED lights ST

Flashing light on the front of my S1

troubador
Just noticed that the blue indicator light on the front of my S1 is flashing - a double flash, long pause, double flash. I searched the Owner's Guide and can't find anything there. The S1 is usually plugged into power. I took it out today and did a 2 hour set. Later in the afternoon I plugged it into a wall socket. It's been like that for around 6 hours now when I noticed the flashing light. Can anyone please shed some light on the significance of this? ThanksRead More...
Thx ST ... The link still doesn't work ... However I tried the link through an online free Proxy Site & it worked. Here in Oman (Muscat), the original ink just doesn't work for some reason. Thx for taking the troubleRead More...

@TURNERSTUDIO I’m not sure I totally understand your post, but the Bose Connect app will play music via Bluetooth in stereo using 2 S1s.

Outstanding performance by my S1 today

troubador
I am sharing my experience today ... I think that my S1 was just outstanding. I'd been invited to perform at an art exhibition today. It was my first time at this location - a large hall which had a stage at one end. Twenty plus artists were exhibiting and I was asked to provide background music. I got there by 11:50 and at 12:01 (yes, 10 minutes and I was ready to go) started a two hour performance. Lots of compliments on the quality of the output. Here's the thing: the hall was perhaps 60'...Read More...
The Mackie 402VLZ has a switch just above the channel faders that will send channel 1 only left, channel 2 only right when pressed in - both still under the overall control of the master fader...channel levels dealt with using trimmer and channel fader. So that's what I did - left -> vocals in ch 1 via U3 to channel one vocal tonematch, right -> guitar in ch 2 via U3 -> ch 2 on S1 with guitar tonematch.Read More...

S1 Pro with Tonematch running Vocals, Guitar via multi-effects and BT's

Hi, Although I have the L1 model S1 system as my main performer I am thinking of buying the S1 Pro just to practise at home as I don't want to keep setting up the L1 model in the living room every time. Has anyone used Vocals-Guitar-Bt's through the S1 pro as I don't want to buy it then realise it's too much for it to handle and hopefully perhaps use it in a small venue. Thanks tony parnhamRead More...

I thought the Aux level procent was the volume knob for Aux? Is there any different if I connect it into Master Out instead of Aux Out?

Where is the mounting bracket?

Hi everyone, N00b question here but I just got a L1 model ii and a tonematch 4 system. How do I mount the tonematch to the l1 system? The instructions say to insert the mounting bracket but I cannot for the life of me find the mounting bracket in any of the boxes? Thanks!Read More...
Hi, Flyingcowrancher, Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community. Welcome. Congratulations on getting your L1 Model II and T4S. The ToneMatch shown in the L1 Model II owners guide is the T1 (the earlier version of the T4S). The T1 came with a mounting bracket. The new T4S has a different mounting system (1/4" screw hole in the bottom). There is no bracket for mounting the ToneMatch mixer to the L1. Thanks to all replies. The T8S is still under warranty so I sent back to Bose with their UPS label and will wait 3-4 weeks for return.
