Using more than one pair of F1's with subwoofers per side

already have a pair of F1's and subs thinking about adding another pair to it for a live rock band, has anyone done this if so what where your resultsRead More...
Hi, Tony. Thanks for the interesting question. Here are the main things you need to know. If you use four F1 Model 812s (instead of two), place the F1 Model 812s where you need the sound (not bundled together). There is not much value in placing two F1 Model 812s together (or stacked) in one location. In theory, you might get up to +3 dB gain in SPL, but you may also introduce Multiple Source Interference because the F1 Model 812s are providing the mid-high frequencies. You don't get the...Read More...

Connecting Two L1 System 2 together for a Duo

I'm looking to purchase 2 Bose S1's with the intent of running a wireless PA system, but have a few questions first (but from what I have researched think that this is possible).... I just need confirmation it s indeed possible to setup as per below: 1. Run my first Bose system with a wireless Sennheiser XSW-D micreceiver into my first S1 speaker mic in, and also a wireless XSW-D guitar instrument receiver into guitar in. 2. Use the Bluetooth function to stream my IPod to this first speaker...Read More...
Yes, there would be a delay between the first S1 and your second S1. This is just my personal experience with the Xvive system. Perhaps Sennheiser system works better, I don’t now.Read More...

Using multiple systems together

I have an LII with a tonematch 4 and a subwoofer. I am moving my system into a permanent space that is 17 and a half feet wide and 28 feet long. I would like to create a true stereo line array for the room, with enough inputs for at least three acoustic guitars, three electric guitars, a bass guitar and three microphones. I would like the system to double as my sound system for a screening room coupled with a projection TV. Can I/should I replace the LII with two LI's or compacts (to be...Read More...

A line input is not as sensitive as a mic input so that probably won't work satisfactorily.

Line 4/5 for 2 Mics

I’m playing in a duo with 2 Vox, guitar and a cajön. I want to use 2 mic’s on the cajön but that would require me to use 5 channels. I would be using a shure 57 and a generic “kick” mic. Would that work or am I opening up a nightmare?Read More...
